We maintain 15 fully automated Wire EDM machines for the Cutting of PCD/CBN blanks into small segments for tooling fabricators throughout all industries that use PCD/CBN.

We can form countersunk holes in any grade of PCD or CBN and any thickness.

PROBE ROTARY EDM

We can wire cut anything from Step Drills to Reamers to Countersink up to 8" in diameter.

Big Sky EDM's CNC small hole EDM allows us to create start holes for threading the wire to create any size hole in PCD/CBN. (Min hole size .020").

FORM TOOL EDM

Big Sky EDM built a machine specifically for wire cutting form shapes to stick tools. This technology allows the machine to calculate variation in the surface of the PCD/CBN layer, yielding a finished product to spec. the first time, everytime.

AUTOMATION

We utilize (2) Fanuc Robots for the loading and unloading of the WEDMS's. Which provides BSEDM with 24/7 operation.

CNC MILL
