Big Sky Mfg is a manufacturing services company. We typically do not sell finished products. However, given our unique manufacturing capabilities, and our company mission of “making our customers more profitable” we have decided to begin finishing and selling a PCD end mill product.
The Big Sky PCD vein end mill and PCD vein drill are new products from Big Sky.
The Big Sky PCD end mill technology offers an advantageous combination of high hardness, edge sharpness and helical geometry, making it the best choice for machining CFC, stacks of CFC/AI, CFC/Ti, CFC/CFC, fiberglass and highly abrasive materials.
The Big Sky PCD vein technology combines the advantages of a helix tool with the best properties of PCD. The helix vein technology is similar to conventional carbide tools except for the fact that it has sintered diamond inside the carbide body. This feature makes a major difference when machining, as tool life is on average 50-100 times longer, compared to carbide tools.

Both the Big Sky vein PCD end mill and drill can be reconditioned two to three times, which is a big reason these tools are much cheaper to use. With the Big Sky tool reconditioning program your tools will have the same high performance as a new tool, we guarantee it!
Once Big Sky receives your tool(s) in house, we will have it re-sharpened and shipped out within two days, insuring your productivity never takes a hit.
